Cycledelia Saturday Morning West - 100km

Description:

Parking available anywhere in the start location.
 

This paved route is used for the Cycledelia Saturday Morning rides when the wind is from the west or southwest.
 

After leaving the city on 11th St. W., the route follows the TNR (Tuesday Night Racing) course along TWP Rd 364 and then HWY 672 to Vanscoy.
 

Re-supply and washrooms are available at the Vanscoy Co-op at 37 km.
 

From Vanscoy the route follows HWY 762 to the intersection with HWY 60. At this point ("the mailboxes"), there is the option to either continue along HWY 762 (Valley Road) or head to Pike Lake and back.
 

Without the Pike Lake option, the route is ~75 km long.
 

Convenient locations to stop for re-grouping or to take a break are the Vanscoy Co-op, mailbox turnout at Hwys 762 and 60 and Pike Lake parking lot.

The route is mostly flat, with some elevation changes on Hwy 762, Hwy 60, and Valley Road.
