Emma Lake to Waskesiu Lake - 145km

Description:

Starting at the Co-op in Emma Lake, this route will take you to the end of the pavement on the north side of Wakesiu Lake. This is a similar route to the classic 'Waskesiu to the South Gate' route but just adds the distance to and from Emma Lake.

There are no resupply points between Emma Lake and the Waskesiu Lake townsite so pack plenty of fluids and food.

Take it all in, riding Highway 263 is widely considered to be the best road cycling route in the province.

When you finish up the ride reward yourself with some ice cream at Bear Country Fudge.
