Route Description
This is a mixed surface ride, 89% pavement and 11% gravel. You may want to consider doing this route on a gravel bike if you are concerned about the 11% of gravel. This loop can start anywhere but the route authors favorite spot is to setup camping at Anglin Lake's Anderson Point. To start off the ride you will head west on highway 953 and enjoy the rollers that take you down the 'Anglin Kicker' strava segment. From here you will zip southbound through 12 kms of hard packed gravel into the heart of lakeland country.
Continue on until the junction of highway 263 and make your way to Prince Albert National Park! After a bakery stop in Waskesiu, head East on the 264 and pass by the Elk ridge resort.
To complete the loop blast south on highway 2 until you meet the Anglin lake turnoff. Enjoy a hot shower and a beverage back at camp!
